Bloated excess, Part Deux
Generally speaking I try not to kick a fellow when he's down, but I will admit to a little inner voice that says "Serves you right" every time I pass this unfinished McMansion, largely in the same state it was in a year ago.
I don't know the story. I presume at some point the builder or the buyer (if there was one) or both ran out of money. Quite possibly a very sad story surrounds this, in which case I feel (a tiny bit) guilty about taking pleasure in this unfinished blight. Sort of like the pleasure I felt once when I saw two SUVs in an accident - "yes!!! They're eating their own!"
